September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and on September 10th, organizations worldwide unite to raise awareness and support for suicide prevention.
Suicide is a serious public health issue and currently ranks as the second leading cause of death for individuals ages 10β44. However, it is also one of the most preventable. This year’s national theme is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide” with a direct call to action: “Start the Conversation.”
At East Hamilton, we want every student, staff member, and family to know that you are never alone and that your voice matters.
