A Better Way Athletics

We are super excited about the opportunity to invest in you as a family. We have partnered with A Better Way Athletics to help align our coaches and parents for the sake of every kid in our athletic community. Below are instructions on how to access your portion of the training.

⋅ Create a username and password (email is suggested)
⋅ Once you are in the system you will scroll down and click on the training center.
⋅ In the training center you select the course “How to Maximize Your Child’s Athletic Journey”
⋅ Each module has a short quiz and the whole training is about 45 minutes long broken up into 12 modules.

TSSA Information
TSSAA NIL AMATEUR RULE: NAME/IMAGE/LIKENESS REGULATIONS
Student deals for promoting brand/products MAY NOT INCLUDE IMAGE OF STUDENT IN UNIFORM, OR OTHER CLOTHING DEPICTING NAME AND LOGO OF EAST HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL.
A coach or any other school official CANNOT facilitate, coordinate, promote, or negotiate an NIL agreement for a student athlete enrolled at his/her school.
A booster Club or any other school support organization CANNOT make a payment to a student-athlete for the use of his or her name, image, or likeness.
If a student athlete wishes to give private lessons or run a mini camp using school facilities, he/she CANNOT mention the school as the host site in the advertisement.
There is no limit as to how much an athlete can make from an endorsement or sponsorship.
There is no limit as to how much an athlete can charge for giving lessons or putting on a camp.
Coaches CANNOT assist an athlete in giving lessons or putting on a camp.
There are no restrictions as to the types of businesses athletes can sign NIL agreements with.
It is considered a violation if an athlete and his/her family were offered a residence as a result of an NIL agreement and if the school was involved.
Schools do not have to document athletes’ NIL activities; however, they may want to maintain an awareness of those activities.
** IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT ANY STUDENT WHO VIOLATES THE AMATEUR RULE REGARDING NIL SHALL BE INELIGIBLE FOR 12 MONTHS IN THE SPORT IN WHICH THE VIOLATION OCCURS.

Soccer – Boys
Men’s Soccer will kick off open fields starting Monday, November 3rd.
Beginning November 10th, the team will start its TSSAA-approved 8 training sessions, running Monday through Thursday each week.
